Ductwork & Indoor Air Quality

You can buy the best system on the market and still be uncomfortable if the air can’t get where it needs to go. Ducts and air quality are the half of HVAC most companies skip.
Ductwork

Leaky ducts waste money every single day

In a typical home, a meaningful share of conditioned air escapes through duct leaks before it ever reaches a room air you paid to cool, dumped into your attic. Worse, those leaks pull dust and attic air back into the system.

Indoor Air Quality

What Your Family Breathes All Day

North Texas gives us cedar, oak, ragweed and months of sealed-up windows. What your system filters matters.

Better Filtration

Media filters and upgraded filter cabinets capture far more than a basic one-inch filter without choking airflow the way an over-restrictive filter can.

Humidity Control

Texas humidity makes 76° feel like 80°. Proper equipment sizing and dehumidification make your home feel cooler at a higher, cheaper setting.

Air Purification

UV and air purification options that address the mold, bacteria and odors that build up on a coil in a humid climate.

Ventilation

Tightly built newer homes can trap stale air indoors. Controlled fresh air ventilation brings outdoor air in without wrecking your energy bill.

Coil & Drain Cleaning

A dirty evaporator coil hurts efficiency and can start to smell. Cleaning it restores performance you already paid for.

Return Air Corrections

Many homes simply don’t have enough return air. Adding or resizing returns often fixes comfort problems no amount of equipment can.
Questions

Ductwork & Air Quality FAQs

Common signs are rooms that never reach the set temperature, energy bills that climb without a change in habits, excessive dust, and an attic that feels conditioned when it shouldn’t be. We can inspect the system and show you what we find.

A standard one-inch filter usually needs changing every one to three months more often with pets or during heavy allergy seasons. Thicker media filters can go six months to a year. A clogged filter is one of the most common causes of the service calls we get.

Sometimes, and sometimes it isn’t. If there’s visible mold, evidence of rodents, or heavy construction debris in the system, absolutely. For routine dust, sealing leaks and improving filtration usually delivers far more benefit for the money. We’ll tell you honestly which one your home actually needs.

It genuinely can. Sealing leaks means the air you’re paying to condition actually reaches your rooms, so the system runs less to hit the same temperature. It’s one of the least glamorous and most cost effective improvements available.
