What We Fix

Common AC Repairs

Refrigerant Leaks

Low refrigerant almost always means a leak. We find and repair the leak rather than just topping it off and sending you a bill again next summer.

Capacitors & Contactors

Two of the most common failure points in Texas heat, and two of the least expensive to fix. Often the difference between a working system and a dead one.

Frozen Evaporator Coils

Usually caused by airflow restriction or low refrigerant. We treat the cause, not just the symptom, so it doesn’t come right back.

Blower Motor Problems

Weak airflow, loud operation, or nothing moving at all. We test the motor and its controls before recommending a replacement.

Clogged Condensate Drains

A blocked drain line causes water damage and shuts many systems down on a safety switch. Quick to clear, expensive to ignore.

Thermostat & Control Faults

Sometimes the expensive-sounding problem is a failed thermostat or a wiring issue. We check the cheap possibilities first.
Our Commitment

We won’t sell you a system you don’t need

Plenty of HVAC companies quote a full replacement the moment they open the panel. That’s not how we operate. If a repair will get you reliably through the season, we’ll do the repair and tell you honestly how much life the system likely has left.

And if replacement genuinely is the better financial decision, we’ll show you why the numbers, the age, the repair history and let you make the call without pressure.

Questions

AC Repair FAQs

Yes, there is a service call fee for diagnosing a problem on an existing system and we’ll tell you exactly what it is when you call, before we come out. You’ll never find a surprise charge on the invoice. Estimates on brand new system installations are free.

We schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and we do our best to fit urgent no cooling calls in as quickly as possible. We don’t offer 24/7 emergency service, and we’d rather be honest about that than have you waiting on a call that isn’t coming. Call 214-938-5449 and we’ll give you a real answer on timing.

Turn the cooling off at the thermostat but leave the fan set to ON. That circulates air over the coil and helps it thaw, which can take a few hours. Don’t try to chip the ice off. Once it’s thawed, check whether your filter is dirty. If it freezes again after that, call us it usually points to low refrigerant or an airflow problem that needs diagnosing.

Sometimes, absolutely. A common rule of thumb is if the repair costs more than about a third of a new system and the unit is past 12 years old, replacement usually wins. But every situation is different, and we’ll walk you through yours specifically.
